This answers many questions regarding the teams progress.

This is a very encouraging video, and definitely answers some questions that have been raised recently

There were a couple of things that I noticed in the video. One was the aluminum front bulkhead for the suspension mounts (at 1:00 in the vid). These are usually carbon. I guess there is some weight penalty with aluminum, but it is certainly less expensive and time consuming than the carbon one would be. Also, the suspension wishbone was "H" shaped rather (1:00)than the aerodynamic shape found on most cars. Perhaps this is an interim piece.

It is encouraging to see the progress, but they have a long way to go. I wish them well.

Good point about the bulkhead.True alumininium is heavier than carbon, but possibly due to the increased weights all around next year, the fifference at this point, which would be grammes or ounces between the two would not be detrimental in setting up the overall balance of the car.
