This is the news that we have all been waiting for. This is looking very promising. USF1 have always said that they would interact with F1 fans and this a a great start.
The fact that Chad Hurley is involved is already apparent with the YouTube video's.
This is encouraging news, and with a long list of partners listed, it looks like all we are waiting for is the car to be put together and two drivers to piolt them

Be sure to have a look at their partner list. There are some very good companies associated with the team. It seems as they plan to have many of their components fabricated by their partners, companies with many years of experience.
It also makes sense to "lease" space on a supercomputer rather than buying your own. Apparently that have done so and have "leased" an experienced operator to crunch their numbers. This is the least costly approach.
If they do use the wind tunnel they will be leasing hours on that as well.
The whole approach is a very reasonable way to reduce the costs of developing an F1 car.

I couldn't agree more. And all of their partners are located literally little more than a few minutes drive away.
This I think is a very well thought out approach, and by far the most cost effective way of entering F1.
With this type of business model, you get some of the best brains in various fields at fraction of the investment.
I am very comfortable with this.I wish them every success.
